The terrain theory – the body’s internal environment (the ‘terrain’) is more important than the presence of germs in determining health. If the terrain is balanced and healthy, pathogens can’t easily thrive. So, instead of only focusing on killing germs, naturopathy aims to strengthen and optimize the terrain—through nutrition, detoxification, herbs, and lifestyle—making the body naturally resilient against disease.
My unique perspective as a herbalist comes from my ability to bridge two worlds: conventional medicine and holistic, naturopathic healing. With nearly a decade of experience as a registered nurse, I have an in-depth understanding of clinical and emergency care, and I am familiar with pharmaceutical treatments and the broader healthcare system. This gives me a solid foundation to understand complex medical conditions and treatments.
This is not just theory for me. My own struggles with chronic allergies and the profound healing I found through herbal remedies drive my passion to help others experience similar transformations.
To make my consultations accessible to more people, I offer them in English, Italian, Serbian, and Spanish, providing personalized care to clients in the language they are most comfortable with.
