My journey into healthcare began with a degree in general nursing in Italy, followed by a move to the UK, where I earned a post-graduate certificate in neonatal intensive care. After working as a registered nurse for over a decade, including in neonatal intensive care units, I found myself increasingly drawn to holistic health. This passion led me to pursue a Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine degree from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.
With a strong foundation in conventional and emergency medicine, I now integrate that knowledge into a holistic approach to healing that addresses the mind, body, and spirit.
My passion for natural medicine is rooted in my personal experience with chronic allergies and the profound relief I found through herbal remedies.
I’ve been fortunate to have three remarkable teachers who shaped my path. My first was my grandmother in Serbia, who taught me about natural remedies. The second was my naturopathic doctor in Belgrade, who helped me heal from severe allergies, sparking my passion for herbal medicine. My third teacher was an esteemed expert in herbal medicine in London, whose mentorship further refined my practice.
Chronic allergies have deeply affected my life and my family’s. I reacted to a wide range of triggers—foods, pollens, weather conditions, dust, mites, pets—with much more severe symptoms, often requiring emergency department visits. These personal experiences have given me a deep understanding of how much chronic allergies can disrupt daily life.
I wish that one day, someone could remember me as I remember my naturopathic doctor—someone who treated me with kindness and respect, showing dedication and firmness when necessary. She understood what my family and I were going through, and my parents felt a sense of relief knowing that someone listened to our entire story and that there were no injections involved anymore.
My goal is to provide the same level of care, respect, and dedication that helped me on my healing journey, supporting others in finding balance and well-being.
